I’ve made some mistakes, or so some others say
but my love for you is special; that’s how it will stay

& yes there may be rumours - perhaps some of them true...
but I’m always only thinking of you, my dear.

Composer: Ed Hooke
Written: February 2019
Recorded:  February 2019

Our love shines divine.  You’re my angel in heaven
& that’s why you’re not like the other sixty-seven
or sixty-eight... Well, who’s counting?  Hmm.  I suppose that I do

but I’m always only thinking of you, my dear.

A fine woman like you always stands by her man
while a man like me, for one night, stands wherever he can
but those one nights mean nothing; come the morning they’re through
& I ‘m always only thinking of you, my dear.

So yes, I may have undressed them & kissed their sweet lips
with a few pelvic thrusts as I straddled their hips
While they moaned in my arms, perhaps I shouted “yahoo”...
but I was always only thinking of you, my dear.

& is it my fault if your sister & your mum loved me too?
I was always only thinking of you, my dear.

Though some hint I might not have done what I ought
I’ve been constant & faithful to you in my thought.
While I’ve humped & I’ve pumped between countless spread thighs
I see you each time I gaze deep into their eyes.

Commentary

1) Oh god.

2) This song was written by accident.  Honestly.  It just sort of fell out.

3) There is a significant distinction (lost on many) between “always only thinking of you” and “always thinking only of you” - although it could be argued that even the former isn’t really truthful here.
