Commentary
Our past is catching up with us; the future is here now and there isn't
a lot of it left.
Not everybody agrees that global warming & climate change are real. Perhaps this is just the latest fashion in doomladen apocalypse scenarios. On the presumption that they are real phenomena, by the time that the human race finally decides to take meaningful action, it will probably be too late.
(No more petrol.
No more food.)

“It’s obvious that this song is very old because the video is in black

[A Very Intelligent Person]
Do you see now how the tide has turned?
-
Do you think we can just look away?
Do we just close our eyes?
Do you remember how carelessly
and how fast that we burned?
Do you think this is now payback for
all the things we've not learned?
Do you think if we try the same things
just another one time
we might be able to save ourselves?
Do you think that we might?
Do you think if we could turn back clocks
we'd do things differently?
Do you think maybe it's not too late?
Do you think there's still time?
We have built a glass bubble home atop a rickety tower.
The wind blows. The tower groans, but we ignore the signs.
When our glass bubble home topples and hurtles down in the tide
your life and my life are swept aside.
